Interactive Whiteboards presents a brief on Harvard University

The Harvard University is the oldest and one of the most reputed institution in America for higher education. Founded in the year 1636 in Cambridge (Massachusetts, US), Harvard is a member of the ivy league and has witnessed seven presidents of the united states getting there graduation degree from there. Harvard faculty who are leading scholars in there respective fields, have produced more than 40 Nobel laureates so far and have been awarded the prestigious Pulitzer Prizes multiple times since 1919 for there outstanding contribution in the field of journalism , music and letters. Harvard has witnessed major scientific breakthroughs on its campus like: discovery of black silicon, invention of a device to quickly determine if a patent is getting a heart attack, discovery of the pacemaker etc.


Harvard students comprises of summer school students, undergraduates and graduates students from every religion and ethnic groups across the world. The harvard university has its own police department and security guards who do bicycle patrol to maintain law and order at the campus. The university has two governing boards namely 'The Harvard Corporation and the board of Overseers.
